The $15,000 HomeBuilder Grant, offered by the Federal Government is a stimulus package designed to support the home building industry and new home buyers!
The scheme provides a $15,000 grant to eligible owner-occupiers to build their new home.
Full eligibility criteria is outlined in the FAQ document below, but to be eligible you must;
- purchase your land
- sign a build contract before 31 March 2021
- commence building within 3 months of signing that contract; and
- meet the household income threshold requirements
Plus, if you’re eligible to receive the First Home Owners’ Grant of $10,000, you will receive that in addition to the HomeBuilder Grant, giving you $25,000 towards your house and land!
